Charolette Hoffman, MD
Dr. Hoffman is a board certified general adult Psychiatrist. She received her Medical Degree from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Medicine, and her undergraduate degree from California State University at Northridge. Dr. Hoffman is the Medical Director of Mt. Washington Psychiatric Services and is on staff at Allegheny General Hospital (AGH). She is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine.
Dr. Hoffman did her internship and residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and was Chief Resident in Psychiatry there. After Residency Dr. Hoffman was a fulltime Staff Psychiatrist at AGH until she established Mt. Washington Psychiatric Services in February, 1998.
Dr. Hoffman treats adults, selected children and adolescents, and older adults. Her areas of specialty are treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and psychiatric complications associated with Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Hoffman manages patients implanted with VNS (Vagal Nerve Stimulation) for depression.
