Julie Frischkorn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from Boston College and holds her clinical license in the state of Pennsylvania. Julie enjoys working with individuals, groups and families and has practiced in a variety of settings including: residential programing for adolescents, college campuses and community based agencies. Julie works from a relational perspective incorporating a myriad of treatment modalities, namely: Narrative Therapy, Trauma Informed Psychotherapy, Relational Cultural Theory, Empowerment Theory and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Julie wholeheartedly believes in the capacity for human growth and healing through the power of relationships and treats a diverse clientele with compassion and competence. Julie works with clients struggling with Anxiety, Depression, life stressors/transitions and relationship issues. Julie specializes in the treatment of trauma, with a focus on interpersonal violence in the lives of women and girls.
